Berrien County Educators at MACUL

The Michigan Association for Computer Users for Learning 2006 Conference is this week, March 8-10 in Grand Rapids. It is a great conference with numerous opportunities to expand your knowledge base. The keynote speakers are good, the hands-on workshops are good, the vendor exhibits are good…hey, it’s all good.

There are a lot of educators from in and around Berrien County who participate at MACUL and help make it a great conference. I thought I’d take a sec to highlight them…hope I don’t forget anyone.

  • Ren Baldwin (St. Joseph) is this year’s President as well as the Conference Chair. Ren’s a glutton for punishment, obviously, and I know he’s worked hard to provide Michigan with a world-class educational technology conference.
  • Linda McConville and Diane Nye (St. Joseph)

  1. Hey Kevin! Thanks for the great MACUL reviews!! It takes a lot of people to put together a great conference. Just a slight correction – there were two conference chairs last year (Eric Getsoian and myself). Ren Baldwin was President and did a fantastic job!

  2. Sorry about the misinformation, Diane, and thanks for setting things straight. I’m looking forward to another great conference in 2007!
