  • Heard of WebQuests? Would you like to create your own? On March 16 & 23 I will be leading a workshop entitled “Creating WebQuests.” At the end of these two days each participant will have designed a complete WebQuest ready to use with their students. For more information visit our tech workshop page or send me an email. To register call Jo Urias (471-7725).
  • The Daily Life Online Teacher Resources site contains lessons and resources for teaching History, Economics, and Geography.
  • Listen to “extraordinary stories from everyday people” on StoryCorps. This site contains oral history of…no events in particular, but interesting stories from regular Americans.
  • I sent something out a couple weeks ago about MySpace and other social networking sites. If you’re a parent or teacher you should take a look at the MySpace Cheat Sheet for Parents.
  • Create a digital storybook using BubbleShare in three easy steps: 1. Upload your photos to your free account 2. Record up to 30 seconds of audio for each photo 3. Share your story with others!
  • The 30th MACUL conference is this week Wednesday-Friday in Grand Rapids. If you’re not going you can still download the handouts and other information from the sessions…plus you can mark your calendar for next year’s conference in Detroit, March 14-16, 2007.
