There has been a date change for the Start Blogging Now workshop. The new date is Wednesday, September 27 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sorry for any inconvenience.

  • Next Tuesday, September 19 we’re hosting our fall Technology Teachers Resource Meeting from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Connect with your colleagues and discover new tools, tricks, and opportunities with technology. The cost is free, but please register by calling Jo Urias @ 471-7725 ext. 149. The workshop number is 07-032.
  • Today, September 11, marks the fifth anniversary of the terrorist attacks in New York as well as Washington D.C. and is now known as Patriot Day. Surfing the Net with Kids has several links worth visiting.
  • Students and teachers can always use a few tips on conducting online research. Answers.com has created this 16 minute movie to help you teach students how to search more effectively.
  • After you watch the video, use Soople. Soople is a site that helps simplify Google advanced searches.
  • For those of you who are very organized or would like to be, use Folder Marker. Folder Marker is a little program that lets you color code your Windows folders as well as set a priority level on their contents.
